Press Conference Held for Bangladesh Festival 2021

A conference was organized at 3 pm on Sunday, August 8 at Jackson Heights Bangladesh Plaza, at the initiative of the Bangladeshi Foundation based in the United States. On the initiative of the organization, They announced to organize Bangladesh Festival 2021 on November 14 at the Hotel Rockville in Maryland. This has a capacity of about ten thousand people. However, the organizers hope that seven to eight thousand people will gather at the festival. President of the organization Jahangir Kabir Bablu, General Secretary Hashan Chowdhury, Treasurer Abdul Mamun Motalib, Organizing Secretary Mohammad Sarwar Mia, Press Secretary Firoz Khaleq Khan and Advisor Humayun Kabir Babu spoke in detail about the fair. Speakers at the press conference highlighted the purpose of the festival. They say that America has been called the "melting spot" of the world, meaning that the USA has become a unique nation with all the nations of the world. Although different castes, religions and cultures come together here, most of the nations continue to carry the identity of their own unique culture by emphasizing their original culture. We are Bengali nation. We have a unique history. The main goal of this festival is to nurture our culture, civilization and build the next generation in the form of indigenous culture. At the same time, they announced to celebrate the 50th golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence. The speakers also said that although there are many Bangladeshi organizations in the USA, we always feel the need for such an organization. Those who will bring out the original and genuine culture of Bangladesh. To that end, we formed the "Bangladeshi American Foundation" in 2019. We started our journey in the metro of Washington DC with any kind of cooperation of Bangladeshis living in USA as well as making significant contribution in mainstream of America and trying to preserve the information of Bangladeshis and make their own culture better known to the next generation. In its continuation, we are going to organize "Bangladesh Utsav-2021" on November 6 this year. Although it was supposed to be organized in 2020. However, in the midst of this global epidemic, we have postponed this event and started working to help Bangladesh and the United States deal with disasters. Notable works include the creation of employment and corona awareness initiatives in the country and the distribution of assistance, masks and gloves to families affected by the Corona disaster in the United States.

The festival will be jointly organized by Bangladeshi American Foundation and Antar Showbiz. Singers Habib Wahid, Oishi, Nasreen Chowdhury, Sonali Mukherjee and Nita will sing. Mahesh Khali's Paan will be a special attraction at the festival. Asian Television and fortnightly Anand Entertainment Magazine will be the media partners of the event.
